I want to get a german shepard dog?
i live in orange county ca and umm how much do they normally cost and are they easier thn golden retrievers to train thanks

The lifespan for a German Shephard is a 7-10 years. They are considered to be the third smartests dog behind Border Collies and Poodles. So, they are smarter than Golden Retrievers but they are much more aggressive and terrioral than a Golden Retriever. I think if you know how to train dogs well then you may find the German Shephard easier but for the beginner, the Golden Retriever would be much better because the Golden loves to please.
