Lawn disinfection of Distemper?

Recently kenneled a dog suspected of having distemper. Bleached the isolation area and equipment, but not the yard. What can i use to make it safe to start using that rotation yard for other dogs/puppies? The dog has been gone for two days. I would do a solution of bleach/water--have used that to kill odors, but I want to be sure with this.
