Dog Handler Training

if you join the RAF police can train as a dog handler straight after basic training?

or do you have to wait a number of years like in the civilian police before you can specialise in something?
I know that you get points on here for "answering" the question, but please, can you only "answer" it if you are actually answering the question...so thanks to the first response for ASKING a question in response to my question, and thanks for the second response for advertising.....if anyone does know the answer to my question it would be very much appreciated!!!!! thank you

I've been out a while so my knowledge may be out of date, but I think you can go straight to dog training after your basic police training. That was certainly the case when I was in.
