Is it too late to train a dog to indoor living?

I have a Bichon Frise, and it has been living in my back yard for 4 years. Now that im thinking to let it live indoor with me. Is it too late to train it? How hard will it be to potty train it? What should i do to train it? Im a pet newbie so only know how to feed it and play with it...

terribly sad that you've kept this wonderful fur kid outside for the past 4 years, but since that is a fact, and to answer your question, yes your dog can be taught indoor behavior to include house-training, but it will take A LOT of consistency, time, love and patience, all of which I doubt that you have for this dog, since you never made the time or took the energy or patience with this dog for 4 long years until now...I'm sorry, but I am guessing that you have spent very little time interacting with this dog over the past 4 years, and I have to wonder WHY you even have a dog, you're not a NEWBIE, you've had this dog for 4 years, you are an irresponsible pet owner that should give this dog to someone that will love it, take the time to treat and care for it properly and love it.......get a goldfish, it should be easy for you to house train!
