Which dog breed Beagle or Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?

I'm getting a dog and i have the choice of 2 breeds either a Beagle or a cavalier king charles spaniel which one help. I want a dog that is willing to run around and go for walks and play but is willing to stay alone by himself for some time. i also want a dog that is easy to train and intelligent I like the beagle but i want to know is it a handful. Please help!!!

You should research both breeds better before making your choice. Don't just get a breed of dog just because it's available to you.

Beagles are energetic and intelligent hunting dogs. They can be loud and will get into trouble if you don't keep his mind occuppied.

Cavaliers are generally sweet-natured dogs that are well suited to apartment living. They don't require as much exercise as Beagles, but require more grooming.
