How old do you have to be to train a therapy dog?
As in when you bring your dog when properly trained to visit the patients in the hospital.
Im planning to do too many things at a time.. sponsoring, fostering, therapy dogs, my parents think im insane.
You can be any age, but if you are a minor, you're parents just have to go with you whenever you go (as a liability thing for you).
ADDITION: A dog must be CGC certified first, and they can't do that until they are six months old. They can't get certified for Therapy Dog until they are 1 year old. I don't think there is a limit on how old they can be "must be younger than ____"
