How do I train my dog to bark when he needs the toilet?

I have a young puppy who goes outside to the toilet, but he will wonder near the door and not bark if I just leave him then he will do it indoors but I don't follow him everywhere so I don't know when he is by the backdoor!

well first you need to teach your dog to speak. To do that hold a treat up so he can't reach it but can see it. Tell him to speak. If he does not do it try to get him excited like ruff up his face or something to get him all fired up and then say speak. if he still does not speak keep saying it in a high pitched voice you got to get him all fired up about about that treat so he will bark. the minute he barks give him the treat and love on him and tell him good boy/girl. once he learns to speak when you think he has to go outside take him by the door make him speak then take him outside once he pottys tell him good boy and really make a big deal about how good he was. Now just keep doing this soon he will relize that when he has to go and goes to the door and speaks he gets to go outside and then he gets loved. Hope i helped! :D

Training A Dog

Any ideas on training dog on a leash?

My golden is 5 months old. She is horrible on a leash. I want her to become used to it and we've had her on it every day for 3 months. I want her to learn to heel. She will barely go 2 feet. She will walk to go potty and then wants to turn around and come home. And pulls me and leads me to the door. Any feedback would be great.

Manitoba is a very large place. Check your local yellow pages or vet for better info. Call your SPCA or humane society the often run classes.
