Is your Dog Smart is Dog Training the Key?    by Dale Stiles

If you have ever wondered why some dogs are able to get the training commands and some don't you may want to read this article? All dogs are smart. It's the method you use to train them. You can't yell or hit your dog. Just talk to them in a stern and demanding tone. If you take your time and invest into your dog training you will be surprised at the outcome. We started Lucy with crate training as she liked to chew anything she could find. This is a phase all puppies go through. We told here each time we put here in the cage it was here bed. Now all you have to do is tell her "bed" and that's where she goes. We don't even close the door now. She is older now and doesn't chew things. This method saved a lot of our items from the jaws of Lucy. The same goes for feeding here we always stopped her in the middle of eating and touch her, this will show here she could still have the food as soon as we told here "go ahead". This will help when any one goes near here when she is eating. She will just stop and not have the thought that we are trying to take her food. These little training steps have made her a well behaved Dog. She has been able to get all these little commands and has mastered them. She can do the following on command sit, stay, eat, shake hands, lay down, fetch a stick and bring it back, eat when told she can. If fact if you don't tell her she can eat she won't till you come back and say "Go ahead".

Another tip would be that any dog that has contact with other dogs and people will not try to protect you whenever they see another dog or person. This is nice if you line in the city. So remember to let your dog interact with other dogs and people. You will be very happy if they don't attack another dog or bite someone.
These habits are great for all dogs that you may take out in public with you. It is much easier to take your dog with you instead of having to leave them at home where they are just stuck in the garage or tied up by the dog house. So start early when they are still puppies and they will be very people friendly.
I hope these Dog Training tips will help.

Puppy Dog Training Tips For Your Family

I know exactly how it is, you grab that latest, wonderful smelling, cute new puppy and you really want to supply it every little thing under the sun. It can be a natural response for everyone who looks at the sweet, small puppy to give them with all sorts of things they would like, however that may bring about a number of undesirable routines and produce a great deal more work for you. Thus it is without a doubt a very good plan to start your own puppy dog training quick, and help your doggie fully understand who is in command.

As the master you need to create a connection with your brand-new four-legged friend. The relationship you create has to include a sturdy foundation, and your own puppy dog needs to understand that you are the leader! By giving in to those puppy dog eyes each instance your puppy whines, you are generally just simply showing your pet that he is actually in control, that he is the boss. In cases where you give your pup free reign around your household, he will certainly not understand self-control, training, and will lack respect for loved ones. Any pet not having respect for their owner is definitely the most detrimental possible circumstances to possess.

By simply giving into your pup, he or she will probably develop to be an even bigger monster, with absolutely no behavior training, rowdy and also a lot of instances aggressive towards other dogs along with people. Many dog owners whom possess these puppy dog training problems, often times merely give these animals away to shelters or perhaps worse, basically abandon these animals. I do not desire this to happen to any kind of doggy so carry out with your puppy dog training.

To be able to gain control and respect via your new puppy dog you must challenge him with a number of primary instructions. These kinds of instructions should be comparable to Sit, Stay, Down, etc. You should help make your puppy sit down before he goes outside, or goes for a walk. Help make your dog follow several essential commands just before the dog's routines and he or she will certainly soon recognize he has to comply to you before he receives everything that your dog wishes. Keep in mind that dogs love a challenge, so turn this kind of behavioral instinct into a constructive effort for you. Have your dog to pick up his toys, sit, retrieve tennis balls, anything at all that places you in command.

As a result of making your puppy comply with some basic commands on a daily basis, he will probably quickly understand that if he or she complies to your request, your dog will receive a treat. Or he or she will get his beloved toy, or even go for a stroll. The quicker your puppy can pick up on this relationship you are creating with your pet, the faster you will probably notice benefits throughout your puppy dog training.

As soon as your pup follows through along with your instructions you need to at all times praise him highly enthusiastically! When your puppy recognizes that he or she pleased you, your dog will certainly want to persist this kind of behavior over and over repeatedly. You never need to yell or discipline ones dog while in your puppy dog training mainly because this kind of behavior will merely set you back, and also help make your dog plan to rebel against almost any command you require regarding him.
