I always wondered are dog and cat behaviorist real jobs? How much do they make?

If I were looking to get into training I would latch on to someone I admire who teaches at the place where I train my dogs. NOT a clueless furbaby trainer like they have at Petsmart, but one at a real training school where the people trial their dogs. A good mentor can be a great help!
If you are not working your own dogs at such a place, then that is where you should start.
Certificates from some group or other mean nothing and most serious trainers wouldn't bother with such a thing. What DOES matter is years of experience working with different kinds of dogs.
When my dog goes potty or pee-pee she does this kicking with all 4 legs. I praise her when she does this b/c I think its cute. I notice that she'll slowly put her head down and then kinda collapse, roll over on her back and then squiggle and squirm on the ground. She also makes noises too, its cute and I like when she does this too. What is the meaning of this behavior?
Ok people, she doesn't roll around in her own waste. That's disgusting and I wouldn't tolerate that.
The kicking you are describing sounds like scent distrubution. When ever she does that, she is throwing her scent in the air. Male dogs can actually smell a female in heat over a mile away. Amazing :o) She is also rubbing her scent (or some other good smell in the ground) all over herself when she is squirming around. They like to smell like ANYTHING other than a clean dog, ha-ha!
My dog will not stop eating other dogs' feces. As i know eating feces is normal for some dogs, but it's disgusting isn't it. Any idea how to stop dog feces eating behavior?
In order to stop dog feces eating, you need to clean you dog feces quickly. You can also add pepper in the feces, the taste of which the dogs will never like. You should feed the animal at proper time. The dog should never be allowed to be hungry. The hunger may prompt the dog to eat the feces.
It is better to feed the dog 3 to 4 times a day, in small quantities instead of feeding heavy food for 2 times. This will reduce the output of the dog. Some dogs may have excessive hunger which is due to insufficiency of exocrine pancreas. Those dogs will eat anything and everything including its own feces.
