Flyball Equipment

[simpleaffiliate source="chitika" results="0"][/simpleaffiliate]

making your own agility equipment?

Does anyone know how to do this or websites that tell you what to get and/or teach you how to make it yourself

Also, any good flyball websites please?

google gives so many when you search so thought i'd ask for the best ones from you guys who probably know

THANK YOU

These two sites are pretty good for finding plans to build equipment:

Also, check with agility clubs and trainers in your area. I know in my area, some of the agility clubs/trainers have equipment building workshops where you learn how to make certain pieces of equipment (the price of the class includes all the materials as well). At the end of the workshop, you have a piece of agility equipment to take home.

Here is a link that will help you find a trainer or agility club:

If you are comfortable with carpentry, or have a friend or relative that is, you can have them make some of the equipment as well. Most good carpenters don't even need "plans" to make the simple structures of agility equipment (A-frame, dog walk).

Depending on how big your dog is, you can improvise on things as well. For example, I bought a kid's play tunnel for a fraction of the price an "agility" tunnel would cost ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5481440 ). Keep your eyes peeled and be creative!

Here are some sites to buy equipment if there's pieces you don't want to make (note: equipment can be expensive):

Puppy Training Classes

Puppy Training

A dog can make a fantastic family pet and often becomes simply another member of your family. However if a dog is badly behaved or does not do what it is told then it can be much harder work than you need it to be to own a dog.

Whilst it can be hard to teach an old dog new tricks, puppies are usually very keen to learn new tricks especially if the training is gone about in the right way. If you train your puppy correctly then they will see being well behaved as the norm and this will make your life much easier. However training a puppy is not always easy and is not something that we all have the time and patience to do.

Instead what you should do is look at getting some expert puppy training. That way you can be sure that your puppy is trained as quickly and as easily as possible with as little disruption to you as possible. You can simply book your pet into some puppy training classes and they can be taught the proper way to behave. You will be thankfully in years to come when you have a dog that is well behaved and you don't have to worry about the state of your home when you come in from a day out and your dog has gone wild.

Remember of course that it's also about making life with a puppy easier. With the right puppy training you can make sure that your puppy is litter tray trained as soon as possible and is well enough behaved to know not to chew things or break things when they are left unattended.

Puppy training is available all over and so finding someone that can help you with this should not be too much of a chore. A quick look on Google should be enough to point you in the right direction and help you find the dog training classes that you need to get your puppy started in the right direction and get them behaving as well as possible as soon as possible.
