My dog is microchipped and I am NOT a hunter, im actually pretty against hunting. I was just interested in these things...I wouldnt be able to tatto my dog. She has a collar and a tag...she's a city dog haha.

they are used by breeders as some kennel clubs still require the dog to be tattooed. Personally I think microchipping is better. With a tattooed ear you are more likely to end up with a dog who's going to be missing part of their ear.

My parents finally let me get my own dog, and I decided to get a pure-breed championship blood line beagle. I will be taking her home in two weeks. I have the house puppy-proofed for the most part. Oh, I didn't mention she will be trained to hunt small game. As I was saying, my dad works for Petsafe, so I get all the pet supplies I need/want for free. I already have the water/food dispencor down on my list, a bed, coller, leash, and some toys. I was wondering if there is anything else you guys can think of that I may need for a puppy! Thanks for the help guys.
P.S.: If your a hunter as well and know of anything I will need to begin my training with her on using her nose to track small game, let me know if I will need anything along those lines.

You just up and decided on a Beagle... Check out or buy a book on this breed before rushing to get one.
Beagle's aren't a great breed for first time puppy/dog owners.
