Leash Training
Which Leash Should You Use While Leash Training Your Puppy?
Your newest addition to the family may start out as a cute little bundle of fur but soon he/she is going to hit a growth spurt. Before that happens, you are going to want to leash train the puppy. This will make walking your dog an enjoyable activity in the days to come. However, if you are remiss in the training you may find your little bundle of fur has turned into an uncontrollable ball of energy.
There is a variety of leashes out there to choose from when buying for your pet. However, when picking a leash to train your pet with, there are specifics needing to be touched upon throughout the process. A fit leash for training will provide the needed constraint while training your dog. It needs to be strong, taut and of a length that will keep your dog in close proximity to you, yet still allow it a sense of freedom on his/her walk.
The best training leash available is the woven leash of specific lengths. They may be old fashioned but they are effective. As your dog grows, you will need to replace this leash with a longer leash to accommodate your pets size. Keep in mind that you should begin training your pet on the leash soon after you bring them home. Training should not be put off for too long. An accessory to this leash, in training, should be the harness. While collars are affective, the harness will provide a more comfortable feeling when training. It is secured around the pups chest and legs instead of neck. This means that when you apply pressure in directing them to heel, they will not only be more aware of the tug but will be less afraid of it. A harness also eliminates the ability for the puppy to back out of the collar. Even if you put on snug and comfortable leash, pups seem to have the innate ability of escaping from it. You may also find that your puppy is afraid of the collar, whereas the harness is less intimidating. Once placed securely on, the puppy will hardly know it is there.
One leash to stay away from using, while training should be the retractable leash as this leash can provide too much freedom in the course of their walks to the point that if extended to a certain length they will be walking in their own little world, completely unaware of your presence which is not very beneficial in accomplishing your goal. In addition, the movement of adjusting and locking the retractable leash can prove confusing to your puppy. It could send the wrong signals to him.
However, with a woven or leather leash you will be able to effectively teach them to heel on command. It will also allow you better control of the leash and what is at the end of it. Nothing is worse then having to strain against a leash as your now large dog drags you down the sidewalk. It is no less embarrassing then when your pawed friend decides to greet the passersby with putting his front paws on them. If walking with a retractable leash you may not restrain your pet in time.
Now, after you have successfully completed training your pup on the leash and he walks along with you in shared enjoyment, it is perfectly acceptable to switch to a retractable leash. When your pup responds to your commands giving him more freedom in your walks is fine and you can consider it a treat even.

Dog Obedience Training Brisbane
Save Your Dog From Feeling Lonely With Bowhill Boarding Kennels Brisbane by Greg Abood
Dogs are referred to as man's best friends not without reasons. Because they appear to be wired for company, a pet dog can provide much needed comfort and love. And they in return will even need plenty of love, attention and encouragement. This aside, there will be times when you will need to leave your pet - in the first place for short intervals of time.
Training your pets to deal with this is important for developing a healthy pet/owner relationship. If you should leave your pet for an extended time, services such as Bowhill Boarding Kennels Brisbane are specialists that will assist your pet to cope and grow through your absence.
Finding out the instinctive character of dogs goes a long way to be able to change their behavior. Dogs seem to have a universal sense of energy - it is almost like they sense our emotions. They react to this energy in both negative and positive ways. For example if we cuddle our pets whenever they come to us; play a game every time they want; or surrender to their endless cries; the energy they get from us is that they are the leaders.
To a dog, the important role of the leader is to safeguard their pack. So if they feel like they are in charge, when you leave them they may get anxious and worry for you. This might lead to barking, crying, and chewing on the furniture. It is significant that your dog knows who's in charge. You must change the energy in the bond. For instance, don't surrender to your dog's cries or bad behavior. As a matter of fact do not even respond in any way if your dog fails to listen to you at first. As you are changing the energy, it might take a while before your dog understands what the right behavior is. The balance of course is to reward your pet when it behaves well.
Part of being the leader of the pack is to be calm and assertive. Projecting this energy will lead your pet to compliment you by behaving obedient and calm. As dogs are instinctively obedient, one of the most excellent places to learn this is through socializing with other pets. Getting dogs together in a healthy environment is great way to enable instinct to teach. Businesses like Bowhill Boarding Kennels Brisbane provide amazing facilities that permit dogs to communicate under controlled situations. This teaches the dogs the fundamentals of being part of a pack so when you return from holidays they will be more likely to accept you as the leader. Approach them with a calm and confident attitude and you will be well on your way to getting back balance in your home.

Dog Potty Training Tips
Potty Train My Dog - What a Shockingly Simple Way to Potty Train Him! by Jerry Gazila
I had a very difficult time potty training my dog, Biscoe! Biscoe is a border terrier and I got him from a shelter near my ex- girlfriend's apartment.
See, Biscoe often relieves himself in front of my bedroom door! I have no idea why he treats that particular spot, just inches away from the door, as his toilet area.
Worse still, the odor from his mess almost caused irreversible damage to the delicate nerves in my nose.
I yelled to myself, "THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!" Well...actually I was yelling at Biscoe as well.
So, what did I do to potty train my dog?
Well, in this day and age, we typically go on the internet to look for solutions, right?
Initially I wanted to search for a dog training book at Amazon.com - instead I got side tracked...I ended up at a video sharing site and subsequently redirected to a dog clicker training website.
Now, I ended downloading a detailed dog training e-course from that site. See, it's a clicker training e-course and not only did it help me potty train my dog successfully, it was also instrumental in getting Biscoe to behave appropriately thanks to some very practical behavior shaping and fluency tactics.
You may take a look at the details of this clicker e-course at the end of this article. The methods are suitable for basic dog obedience training, teaching tricks to a dog, retrieve training, and more.
Alright! Listen, if you want a simple way to potty train your dog, then I recommend using a clicker. Here are some tips to help you right away!
1. First, make sure you set up a 'relief area/room' for your dog. And every time you take him to the relief area, use the SAME room access.
2. Now, you have to teach your dog to relate the clicking sound with something pleasant (reward). What you're going to do is give your dog a treat, and when he munches on it you promptly...click!
3. Do the click and treat process a few more times. Experiment placing treats on the floor, on a target stick, etc and click AS SOON AS he eats the treat.
4. Whenever you bring him to the 'relief area', use the potty command repeatedly. If he potties there, you just click the clicker and then praise and/or give him a reward. That's it! That's exactly how I potty train my dog!
Even without any dog training experience, you can still fix your dog's potty issue and many other behavioral problems by referring to the special clicker training methods outlined in this course with videos included.
Just follow this link for download details - -> Downlodable clicker academy E-course. Boy, am I glad that I can now potty train my dog!

If you take an obedience course you will need to rely on your memory to remember them all. Training Your Puppy - 3 Important Things To Remember by Debby Law
There are as many ways to raise a puppy as in attendance are to raising a youngster. Taking part in information, solitary way for each family unit in universal! But the majority of us reach agreement with the purpose of what time it comes to children, convinced things are universal and undisputed. Here are three things with the purpose of a luck of group merely figure out not think of what time it comes to raising their dogs, however. How many epoch control we heard, "My dog merely won't pay attention to me", or "He merely won't act!"
1. Dogs figure out not understand English until we teach them.
The phenomenon we all love approaching puppies the the majority is the way they live in support of us, the way they focus all they control on us, the way our lives befall theirs. In the opening, they study us to ascertain our body language, our facial expressions and our language. Until we teach them the English language, it's all they control. If we say, "Wanna operate not at home?" solitary day of the week, "Have to operate potty?" the after that day of the week, and, "Hafta pee?" the third day of the week, if they DO presume not at home what did you say? We wish for, it is as we control chosen up the lead and motivated on the way to the entry with a pleased tackle! If you wish for to tempo up his training by three-fold, teach him YOUR language. Pick a demand in support of EACH behavior and stick with it. Instruct all in your family unit to employment the same language and commands, and your puppy will amaze you next to how much sooner he learns.
2. A fresh puppy's metabolism is racing along sooner than we think.
The younger your puppy is, the sooner he is growing, the more food and fill with tears he needs to fuel his metabolism, and the more often he has to operate potty. Do not punish your puppy what time he makes a house-breaking faux pas. These are YOUR fault. Your puppy's age in weeks and his breed size determine how often he be obliged to operate not at home. Once an hour is not too often in support of a copious 6-week old puppy, especially if it is summertime. Dogs love the exciting smells outdoors, so in attendance is veto excuse to not control him housebroken by 7-8 weeks of age. Right like a doze, like he eats and like grooming are the fundamental epoch, and he will intimate you. If he is happily chewing a toy and gets up suddenly with his nose to the floor, move quickly! And all period he goes potty outside, praise him to superior heaven! "What a lovely BOYY!", "GOOD operate potty!" and the like. Dogs love our pleased faces, and they will figure out something to persuade it.
3. Dogs live in support of our facial expressions and body language.
Because of this, the most horrible punishment you perpetually need to dedicate your dog is a scowl and to bend away from him. You can see to it that his tail fall down and his tackle persuade so heartbreaking. He will ascertain the lesson, I warranty it. But his attention span is simply 3-5 minutes, so figure out not sneer at him a few longer. Be partial to him up and dedicate him your pleased tackle again. Physical punishment is not at all needed. Use constant commands and loving praise and he will know what did you say? You wish for of him ahead of you know. He will befall a master of your body language and facial expressions in veto period next to all.
Naturally in attendance are many aspects of training your puppy well. Loving kindness factory merely as well in support of puppies as it does with children, creating a pleased, well-adjusted and respectful dog in support of life. These three weighty tips, used consistently with confidence, will start him well on his way.

Dog training is not a job for everyone. It demands a great deal of time and dedication. Repeating instructions and doing the same activities over and over gets monotonous and dull. For this reason many trainers have started incorporating the use of other items and gadgets to spice up the training experience. The use of books, toys, special items, and videos are some examples of useful training aids.
Videos that explain dog training can only be improved by having somebody at home with you. Videos contain plenty information on the various training techniques, covering each one in detail. Thus, when the pet owner sits to analyze his training exercises and compare them to the ones in the video, he can easily point out his mistakes. These videos are available everywhere lately. Your dog's veterinarian would probably be the best place to start your search. There are also pet stores, training schools, and even the supermarket. Of course there is always the internet, where you could easily find numerous titles just by doing a search on "dog training video".
Some videos approach training from the dog's perspective. They follow up on the dog's activity and mount a voice over it that resembles what the dog is thinking. This is fine, although I prefer the ones that include a real person in the activity, so I may identify my place in the exercise as well. A few others tend to focus a lot on a dog that has already been trained. In these videos, the viewer, although entertained, does not gather much of what he really needs in the step by step process.
The best kind of dog training video will be the ones made as group activity, with pet owners present and a group of dogs with no training what so ever. Starting out from scratch is where most interested viewers will be at as well. They will benefit the most from the instructions given at the beginning stages of the video. The beginner stage is always the hardest one, where dogs and pet owners alike will be trying to find their place in the situation. As a pet owner, you will trying to say the right things, in the right tone of voice and in the right way. Your dog, on the other hand, will be feeling confused and looking around for clues on how to react. This is where videos are of most use, being able to present examples of behavior you can playback again, and again.
Instructional videos are a great tool, whether they are for dog training or any other task you wish to achieve. They are inexpensive, and provide a lot of useful information and examples on an easy to deliver package. Some instructional videos feature a recognized and reputable expert on the field, which may be able to provide abundant, in depth information on how to better handle your dog. Get recommendations for videos available, and let them make your job easier and more enjoyable!

Security Dog Training
Dog training made easy! by Cody Mclean
Dogs' feeling of smell are incredibly keen and the scent of urine or excrement in your house may possibly make it think that it is the site to go potty. Use a deodorizing cleansing remedy to wipe out odors that may stick to your floors and carpets.
5. Preserve your dog's sleeping region as tight as easily feasible. Canines do not want potty in their sleeping quarters and by trying to keep the location just plenty of for it to sleep and, perhaps, flip close to, there would be no area for it to go potty. Ever morning, when the canine wakes up, consider it to its normal potty area so that it would do its small business there.
six. Reduce your dog's food and h2o intake just before it sleeps. This prevents accidents from occurring for the reason that when your dog is full of drinking water or food while sleeping, it may well not have the capability to handle the contact of nature.
seven. Make it easy for your puppy to go exterior by means of a doggie door or leaving the back door open. If this is impractical in your place, leave a bell for your canine to get to. Consider the dog out each and every time it rings the bell so that it would know that ringing is a signal for going out.
Whoever says you cannot educate your older puppy new tricks could possibly just be also lazy. Potty schooling an older canine is in truth feasible if you know these recommendations and if you just have the correct volume of persistence.
When it arrives to canine schooling, shock collars can be an powerful instrument. Having said that, they have to be used effectively and securely if you're heading to train your puppy with them. In this posting, I will present you how to use shock collars to attain this intention.
A shock collar is an electronic puppy collar that will deliver a shock to the puppy when they do something wrong. Most of these types of collars arrive with diverse ranges of shocks that can be administered, and really should be set appropriately for the size of the canine. A shock will be sent from the transmitter to the receiver of the dog's collar. You handle the transmitter to deliver signals when your canine does one thing that you do not approve.
It's a uncomplicated notion -- any time the canine does one thing incorrect, you send a shock to the dog. They might not figure it out the 1st time, but if they do the very same matter once again and get shocked, they may well get started to detect a pattern. If they do it 3 or 4 a lot more occasions and acquire a shock every time they have carried out that similar behavior, then quickly they will believe that carrying out that conduct leads to them to get shocked. As a result, they will cease executing that conduct.
An electronic shock collar can be utilized to prevent many various kinds of misbehaviors in dogs, this sort of as jumping up on furnishings or visitors, digging holes in the backyard, chewing on issues and so on.
It is vital that you have your transmitter on you at all occasions so you can administer shocks without delay if the dog misbehaves.

Dog Flyball
Basic information on the German Shepherd dog by Swell Group
The German Shepherd dog is a great family pet has was first shown in 1892 at the Hanover Exposition. The character of a German Shepherd is well-muscled, confident, alert, fearless and some can have the fighting instinct.
In general German Shepherds are obedient, loyal and has an excellent sense of smell. They are lively eager and highly trainable because of their desire to obey.
The standard colours of Shepherds are black with reddish brown, brown, tan or light grey markings. The average dog size is 60 to 65cm and the average size for the bitch is 55 to 60cm. In all breeds bitches tend to be smaller than dogs. The weight of an average German Shepherd for dogs is 30 to 40 kg's and for bitches 22 to 32 kg.
They are classed as a large breed and therefore they would be fed a larger kibble food such as Arden Grange Large Breed or they could be fed a breed specific food such as Eukanuba German Shepherd food. One of the benefits of using the large breed dog food is the kibble is larger.
As like with all dogs you will need a suitable dog bed, dog collar and of course a good dog lead. These are the basic essentials for any dog, but with the Shepherd being a larger dog then the accessories need to be that bit stronger.
This is also a working dog and many are found to be working as police dogs. This is because they can be trained and are very loyal animals. They are also known as guard dogs.
They are great all round dog that will also make good family pets. There are many breeders club available to join to learn more about the breed or why not join a local dog training club where you can take your new dog to learn good basic obedience.
All dogs benefit from learning new skills so you can do as much training as you can possibly fit in. At your local dog training club you will be able to learn sports such as obedience, flyball and agility. All three disciplines take time and effort from you and your dog but you will see the benefits when your pup starts to grow and turns into a well behaved balanced dog.

Train Dog
Properly Trained Dogs by Cayla Young
It has been shown in animal behavioral science and among most trainers that dogs and other animals work better for reward than out of fear of the handler. By closely observing animals and developing the ability to understand these little miracles, we can better understand life, our own behavior, other people, and the cultures we live with. - That your behavior is that of a higher status animal.
Animal
The animal need not be bathed daily and this helps to protect the skin's characteristics like insulation feature. As pack animals, wild dogs have natural instincts that favor cooperation with their fellow dogs. Studies have found that "when a pregnant animal is petted her litter is more docile (Denenberg and Whimbey 1963, in Fox 1978). Anti-electronic training campaigns highlight the danger of static stimulation in the hands of irresponsible pet owners resulting in an aggressive or severely stressed animal. Although the static current is not high enough to burn an animal, a collar that is neglectfully cared for can cause painful necrosis on the neck due to collars being too tight or left on the animal too long. Due to their natural social structure -- which is territorial and protective of companions -- even companion animals will exhibit some form of alert behaviors toward intruders. However true guard dogs and police dogs are dedicated animals in the sense that they are not simultaneously intended to be companion animals. Properly trained animals will guard on command and then when commanded to "out" will approach and accept in a friendly manner those that may have attempted to gain entry, cause harm or steal protected items. There are several methods regarding the training of guard animals, western (e. The Schutzhund method also contains a portion relating to protection, and generally means the animal will bite on command, and will not release until commanded. Assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs, are carefully trained to utilize both their sensory skills and the protective instincts of dogs (as pack animals) to bond with a human and help that person to offset a disability in daily life. Unfortunately most people respond to a jumping dog by either petting the animal in a misguided attempt to calm it down, or by first pushing the animal down and then petting it. For example, to have a dog that heels nicely when out for a walk, comes when called (which can save the dogs life), does a nice down-stay when waiting in the animal hospital reception room, does a stand-stay when being groomed, a sit-stay in the elevator, etc. It has little to do with education of an animal, but it does have a lot to do with our egos, our assignment of importance to relatively unimportant actions, and our own deeply seated beliefs about animals.
Dogs are pack animals & need leadership. The canine species is our best animal friend because dogs are so willing to live with humans and respond to our commands. It takes you through the steps of finding the right dog for you and for your family; is it going to be a purebred or a mutt from the animal shelter. Modern dog training uses the positive reward system a technique favored by most animal trainers.

Dog Training Aids
Reasons Why Dog Collars Are Important In Dog Training by Paul Andrews
Dog training is a very important aspect in raising a dog especially when the dog is still young. A dog must not just be trained on doing tricks but also with good manners. The best thing about training a dog is you are able to develop communication with the dog. Knowing how to communicate with him makes it easier for the dog to understand and obey you.
Some dogs are very aggressive and bark excessively while in public. Those kinds of dogs usually frighten other pets and people. The dog must be trained with good manners to avoid any trouble it may cause whilst outdoors around other people. Dog collars also help when having a walk in public with your dog. It will keep you in control of the dog by pulling him in case the dog misbehaves or chases other people or pets.
Having a dog collar tied on the neck of the dog is essential, especially when training a dog. There are many benefits of using dog collars. You can put identification tags on it, so even if the dog is lost it can be returned back to you. Using collars is also a great way to accessorize the dog. There are some that are custom made and come in different colors.
There are dog training techniques that need the use of dog collars. The use of collars in dog training is that it aids the training in taking control of the dog by interrupting it when the dog misbehaves. A type of dog collar which is called a choke collar helps the trainer in training the dog. The trainer can tighten the collar on the neck of the dog but not too tight that can injure the dog when the dog shows misbehavior.
There is also a type of dog collar that can release a mild electric shock with the use of remote control. When the dog displays unwanted behavior you can easily push the button on the remote to punish the dog for the bad behavior by releasing a small electric shock. This can also be used in training the dog not to stray away from you or not to chase other pets.
Dog collars play a big role in dog training. It is important that you are able to choose the right collar for your dog. Consulting an expert in choosing the best collar for your dog and having your dog trained by an expert trainer is vital, especially for the dogs that are very wild and aggressive.

Dog Trainer Equipment
Dog Agility - From Easiest To Hardest Training Equipment by Brad Carlson
Ohhh watch that border collie weave through those poles at full speedwithout missing an entry. Just like an olympic slalom skier weaving around the sticks. Ohhh watch that border collie fly thru the jumps without knocking over bars, or how about perfect contacts on A-frame, dogwalk, and teeter. Aren't they the most incredible animals on earth, huh? You must have seen them on Animal Planets channel, or Great Outdoors games in ESPN. Its amazing how easy it looks for the border collies to breeze through all the dog agility equipment and obstacles on course. Hey now, its time to wake up, look at your dog. You think "Hmmmm, if that border collie can do it, I think my dog can do it too". Whoa, hold your horses! Get this, every dog is different. Dogs have different reasons for enjoying agility. Some like the reward either for the food or toy, or some dogs just want to run and jump. Remember this, border collies, most of them anyway, are made for agility, the speed, circular courses and quick turns fire them up. A labrador retriever is made for hunting and retreiving ducks and birds, working in linear patterns, and coming back to you. These are good skills to have in agility. Know your breed strengths and utilize these in training agility. Any dog can do agility, but some dogs, for instance, a basset hound will never do what a border collie can do. Get this? Lets move on to the next paragraph on size of the dog.
There's a saying that a small size border collie will perform better on the agility course than a medium or big size border collie. Size determines which height catagory your dog is placed in, but does not indicate level of performance. Lets not forget it goes back to the trainer or handler. The question you need to ask is how much training will it take for my dog to go through the weave poles, make contacts, or run the way I want it to.
Some will say that training weaves is the hardest obstacle to teach, others will say giving commands, yet others the contacts. No matter where you and your dog start first, you as the trainer and handler will need to set a goal. Keep training fun, short, and simple. One simple method of training your dog is to reward with food or toy. Every dog has a desire to please you to some degree, but not every dog understands what you expect. If your dog is driven by food, reward it with a small treat after a short exercise, continue after every task. If your dog is driven by toy such as ball or frisbee, use it as a reward also.
You might think getting start in the agility sport is expensive. As the cost of raw materials goes up, so does the equipment. One way to cut down on cost, is to join an agility club. However, it costs to join also. Others might prefer to purchase a few pieces of dog agility equipment at a time for their own backyard training. Still others might want to purchase equipment for day care, just set up as doggie playground. Regardless, it costs money. You will need to ask yourself, do I want to invest in money and time? Or do I want to do it just to have fun, as a hobby? Will my doglike to run and jump?
Every trainer has a different philosophy and approach to agility training equipment, which is hardest and which is easiest, which takes the longest and which takes the shortest to learn. Every dog is different, has a different desire and perspective to agility. It does not matter how small or big your dog is, its how much you and your dog enjoy the training and playing. And to top it off, start with an exciting and positive attidude and have lots of fun.

Dachshund Training Guide: Things To Do To Keep Your Dog From Digging by Margaret Evans
Digging is among the many frustrating dog habits that quite a few people hope to purge through proper dachshund training. Although digging is a interesting thing for dogs, it can be very problematic and infuriating to their owners. And while you can't completely get rid of your dachshund's propensity to digging, there are several ways on how to handle such habit.
It's quite natural for dachshunds to dig given that they belong to the hunting or tracking breed. However, you will need to get a grip of your dachshund's habit of digging through proper guidance and consistent dog training routines. This is to guarantee his safety and health. The point is, digging can bring about a number of trouble and harm to you and your dog. Unrestrainable or unwarranted digging could wreck your lawn or garden, endanger your dachshund's health if he happens to dig on fertilized areas, and could also pave way to his escape route.
The first thing that you need to do is produce the best, most relevant dachshund training information that could lend you a hand with respect to understanding what mainly drives your pet to dig. You need to know why your dog digs apart from the fact that digging is part of their instinct. It's because your dachshund can dig for a number of reasons. He may be digging because he's looking for a spot to do his business. It may also be because he's bored and nothing amuses him more than digging. He could also be chasing or tracking something.
You must be prepared to identify the trigger of the problem. That is why you need to find out the best ways to decipher your dog's responses, behaviors and body language. You must learn how to properly communicate and interact with your dachshund, especially when you're doing different dog training activities. Be very vigilant and observant of your dog's actions. The right means of potty training will stop your dog from finding toilet spots through digging. Relieve boredom by going through different forms of appropriate physical/mental exercises and proper dachshund training activities. Always keep your dachshund busy by either giving him chew toys or by hanging out with your dog to play. Of course, consistency in training is the ultimate way to make your dog master all the commands.
Do not leave your dachshund unattended, particularly if he is outdoors or in your lawn. Make sure that you undertake proper crate training lessons so that you can confine him to his crate whenever you can't supervise him. And since your dog isn't likely to stop digging even after you commanded him to stop or refrained him from doing so, bury stuff he might not like on spots he usually like to dig. That way, he will no longer go to that area to dig.
Moreover, dachshunds are really persistent with regards to things they really like doing. Of course, they can also be very obstinate toward following your dachshund training for obedience commands. Thus, take advantage of your dachshund's tracking and hunting inclination. Train him to be a reliable and exceptional hunter by managing appropriate activities or those that are designed for hunting/tracking breeds like dachshunds. Guide him accordingly for you to proficiently avert his digging and other inherent tendencies. Remember, a responsible leader makes a responsible digger.

House Dog Training Tips
Is your Dog Smart is Dog Training the Key? by Dale Stiles
If you have ever wondered why some dogs are able to get the training commands and some don't you may want to read this article? All dogs are smart. It's the method you use to train them. You can't yell or hit your dog. Just talk to them in a stern and demanding tone. If you take your time and invest into your dog training you will be surprised at the outcome. We started Lucy with crate training as she liked to chew anything she could find. This is a phase all puppies go through. We told here each time we put here in the cage it was here bed. Now all you have to do is tell her "bed" and that's where she goes. We don't even close the door now. She is older now and doesn't chew things. This method saved a lot of our items from the jaws of Lucy. The same goes for feeding here we always stopped her in the middle of eating and touch her, this will show here she could still have the food as soon as we told here "go ahead". This will help when any one goes near here when she is eating. She will just stop and not have the thought that we are trying to take her food. These little training steps have made her a well behaved Dog. She has been able to get all these little commands and has mastered them. She can do the following on command sit, stay, eat, shake hands, lay down, fetch a stick and bring it back, eat when told she can. If fact if you don't tell her she can eat she won't till you come back and say "Go ahead".
Another tip would be that any dog that has contact with other dogs and people will not try to protect you whenever they see another dog or person. This is nice if you line in the city. So remember to let your dog interact with other dogs and people. You will be very happy if they don't attack another dog or bite someone.
These habits are great for all dogs that you may take out in public with you. It is much easier to take your dog with you instead of having to leave them at home where they are just stuck in the garage or tied up by the dog house. So start early when they are still puppies and they will be very people friendly.
I hope these Dog Training tips will help.

Dog Puppy Training
Pitbull Puppy Training 101 by Andrew Goenardi
The Pitbull breed puppy is a puppy full of energy. It can't help but run and play all day. Although known to be a dog aggressive type of breed, a well trained Pitbull puppy will bring tons of joy into your family's life. Pitbull puppy training can begin as early as you get him home. This will help him channel his overflowing energy to good use. One important thing to note is that you must never bore a Pitbull puppy. Let us see how we can train a Pitbull puppy at home:
Feeding. As with other dog breeds you have to start with the basics, teach your Pitbull puppy where to get his food and where to find his water dish to prevent him from quaffing water from the bowl. Never feed him unless it is in his bowl. He has to learn this to make him wait for food and not bother you while you eat at the table.
Sleeping. Make a small bed or better yet, to prepare for a Pitbull's size, a big crate for a bed. Be sure to dog proof the crate with padding and if you would like to, add a small blanket for the puppy to play with. Teaching a dog where to sleep can be hard at first but he will eventually get the message when you place him in his bed each night.
Potty training. Pitbull puppy training when it comes to potty training is easy. Take him to a cardboard box every after meals to do his business. After many attempts he can already remember (and smell) where he can go. You can also train a Pitbull to go when you are walking him when he becomes an adult.
Biting. Pitbull puppy training when it comes to biting is easy especially if you have a tether. If you see him munching on a slipper, replace the slipper with a tether. This will teach him to associate biting with only his chew toys.
Dog aggression. Pitbulls are known to be dog aggressive breeds. The only way to do this is to get another dog. Introduce the new dog as if he was the first one to find it. Having a new dog can teach him to be calm around new dogs and to control his temperament.
Play. After taking care of basic training, it is time for play and fun. You can teach your Pitbull any tricks in the book since he is full of energy. This breed is not for the average couch potato owner. As a Pitbull owner you have to have a lot of time to spend walking and running with your dog. If you live in a small apartment, your puppy might get bored and restless and this may lead him to look for fun. So try to have more time for your puppy especially when he is growing up.

Boarding Dog Training
Herding Dogs Training by bevantovey farque
Training a dog or a gaggle of dogs for herding takes time and effort but not only is very useful, it is rewarding as well.
Some dogs have a certain amount of herding canine training bread into them. This makes the coaching course of easier but it surely still requires time and effort. Analysis on herding dog breeds will go an extended ways. After you have found a good pup you need to start to familiarize the canine with the mechanics of sheep farming.
Simply taking the canine with you to the fields is an efficient start. If an older canine has never been around larger animals they'll generally be frighted. Dogs which are frighted may lash out and develop into unruly to train. If you happen to happen to be attempting to train an older canine who's afraid at first you'll need to do a bit extra work to right this problem.
Whereas having a pack of dogs (two or three) is far more efficient when herding, only prepare one pup at a time. Trying to control, praise, and scold a number of dogs directly just isn't solely frustrating for you but it can also be confusing for the dogs.
If you have already got a dog who is skilled for herding this may be very useful for a brand new pup to watch. Typically times dogs study from other dogs behavior. If you are coaching your dog for competitions you could already have pals with skilled dogs. It may be potential to have training periods with these dogs.
Herding canine training may be some what irritating if in case you have by no means performed it before. One thing it would be best to be certain of is that you just at all times correct your canine when he/she makes mistakes.
