Toronto Humane Society Voulenteers?

I an interested in volunteering at the Toronto Humane society during summers. I would like to be someone who "plays" with the animals to give them excersise since every animal needs handling. I have had about 15 pets in the past and love animals. I am willing to undergo simple training in handling them although I know how to. I am also able to tell people about each animal in a certain section and kind of advertise them to people ( let them handle the ones they are interested in etc.)

I am wondering:
-What is the minimum age to volunteer at the toronto humane society
-What can a teenage volunteer do in handling

At the Toronto Humane Society, you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer with the animals.

If you are old enough, they require you to visit the shelter, complete an application, and undergo a quick interview to become a volunteer. Once you complete this process you can get an assignment based on your desires, your experience, and the needs of the shelter.

The shelter is located at 11 River Street, on the southeast corner of Queen and River. Volunteer application forms are in the lobby, and you can complete the application between 12pm to 7pm daily.
