Pet Trainers

pet trainers
Is a pet behaviorist just a dog trainer or more?

Also how much do they make?

Recently Ive been watching the show "Animal Cops Pennsylvannia" on Animal Planet and Im very interested in one of the jobs a lady has on the show. She has to evaluate all the animals that get rescued to see if they are suitable for homes and living in different environments and if they are neglected or abused she helps them to be able to go to homes. Is this a pet behaviorist? Would you need to go to school for this? What do they make?

Thanks

To become an Animal behaviorist you will need to go to school. It is very involved and you will need to have earned at least a BA.

I don't know what job the person on Animal Cops Pennsylvania has. I have never seen the show. Did you try writing to them an email?
