Shock Collar Dog Training

Has anyone ever used a shock collar to train/discipline your dog?

This is something that I would never have considered, but several people have told me about the great success they had when using them with their dogs. They obviously don't keep using them as the dog learns what behaviors are acceptable and unacceptable. Any advice?

Try talking with a professional dog trainer ... a shock collar or a spike collar would be last resorts .. I've never used either .
