Dog Training Problems

my dog has potty training problems?

when im not around my dog she just go into the living room and goes to the bathroom what do i do to teach her to stop?

Both of the other answers I saw look good...keep your dog with you at all times when you're home for a while(hooking her leash to your belt loop can help). Keep a close eye on her and if she starts to sniff around, take her out. Give her a treat as soon as she goes potty outside, NOT when she gets back in the house. Use blacklight to find all the "problem areas" on your carpet, and an enzymatic cleaner to eliminate them. When you're not home, she should be in a kennel, large enough for her to stand up, turn around, and lie down. Too big and she may just potty in one area and sleep in another. Do not put food and water in the kennel with her, or she may need to go while you're gone. You could also put a child gate up to block off the living room if possible, and all else fails.
