House Training An Older Pet?
My Golden Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle mix) is about 2 years old now, and most of the time my mom has her locked in the kitchen/dining room. She has to work all of time, so I understand that she doesn't really have time to house train a dog. I've decided, being the main babysitter of the house when my mom is at work, that I'm probably responsible enough and patient enough to house train a dog, even though I'm only 15. I feel bad for her because she really gets nervous and seems to have bad issues with being alone. She barks for us for half an hour and whines and cries when she can't see us, and I really want her to feel she can see us any time she wants.
So, what are some tips for house training an older dog?
