Is there a way that i can train my dog to stop barking?
my dog charlie is constantly barking and i tried what i could but nothing works :(
please help!
When is barking? At what? Is it boredom? Only at strangers? At other dogs?
Most common reason is boredom or anxiety, like when people leave their dog out in the yard alone for an hour or more. The dog gets bored. Or he's anxious because he's a pack animal locked in a place all alone. Solution: don't lock him outside all alone for hours. Keep him inside. Try crate training for the time you're at work..
Does he bark and lunge at other dogs or stranger? In the home or out on walks? He may benefit from more socialization and/or training. A dog basic obedience class is ideal for a dog like this.
