Purebred dogs, are they inbred?
So to spin off of my last question, about breeding rights, are purebred's inbreds? I have been told that they take longer to train, and certain breeds can have health difficulties in the future. I have only ever had mutts, from my local humane society, but right now they have no dogs(which is a good thing, I would guess) so I am looking into a local breeder, my dog right now is a mutt, she was easy to train and is in tip top shape, but she needs a sister or a brother to play with. Will my choice to get a purebred affect my current dogs behavior?
All purebreds are inbred by definition.
