Scent-training German Shepherd.?

I am currently working with my WONDERFUL german shepherd female on scent training. I was wondering if anyone had some in depth instructions and techniques that would help me with this. I want to train her to be able to sniff out people, her cookies, her balls, something with maybe my scent on it such as a dropped set of keys or cell phone, teach her to hunt out people like hide and seek. Please any in depth instructions would be appreciated.

I do Schutzhund -see link below - but the basics are the same. The second website might help you out with the type of scent training you are looking for. Be warned, you have to wade through a lot of articles to find info, but if you are interested, they are helpful!
